Sometimes I feel like I just can't win. This month has been an amazing blend of highs and lows, but as always, the lows affect me much more than the highs. With the syphilis outbreak in Europe spreeading to Los Angeles, the shutdown and slow restarting of production has affected my workload for the month. Couple that with the unstable nature of content trade scenes days, and my month has been kind of a downer statistically.
After the 2 scenes today, I will have done 13 paid shoots and 10 content trade shoots in September. I had 2 scenes scheduled for tomorrow - one paid, one content and both got cancelled. Then I had a content shoot tentatively scheduled for Sunday night - and it too got cancelled. Just a brutal stretch for me (there were some cancellations earlier in the week as well). My averages are normally 20-23 paid scenes and 6-8 content scenes.
My first scene today was for Lethal Hardcore and my friend Dust (known on twitter as Chucky Sleaze). The owner of the company is Stoney Curtis, a long time industry veteran. A few months ago, he got spooked by the AHF campaign to force condoms on performers in the business, so he moved his entire operation from Woodland Hills to Garden Grove (near Disneyland). Which is GREAT for him (he lives near there) but fucking horrible for all the performers who have to fight traffic there and back on the 50 minute drive (plus another 30-60 minutes for traffic).
But part of this business is realizing that 400-500 bucks is still great money for a scene and its INFINITELY better than waiting tables for 50 bucks or other jobs that don't pay as well. And to be honest, I don't mind the drive as it gives me time to call my friend Sullivan (the owner of Porn Pros) and bullshit about everything under the sun like we do every day.
My call time was 11:30am, but of course I arrived around 12:15 or so. And guess what? They STILL hadn't finished the solo still photos (called "pretty girls"). But this is fine, as it gives me time to do some creeping on the girl. :)
Mia Gold is 23, from Las Vegas, and is one of those rare girls who does not use a talent agent. She is a spunky, fiesty chick who I liked immediately. Some girls just have a good vibe about them, and I challenge anyone who has met her to not say the same.

We were doing a scene for a new series called Girls in Control or Women Taking Charge or something like that. So Mia was playing a cop and I was handcuffed because I fired off a weapon outside my apartment. She finds the gun, but gives me the opportunity to please her sexually instead of going to jail. Um, yes please!
It was a fantastic scene in my opinion. I felt like we had great chemistry, which simply means that Mia is a very very good performer. lol - One caveat to the scene, Stoney now shoots in his warehouse, which doesn't have AC, which means its about 125 degrees in there, and although they have portable AC units, you can't keep them on during the scene because of the noise. So the scene descended into a super sweaty sexathon. Yikes!
Again, Mia was a great performer, she was vocal, knew the positions, and allowed me to move her around to make me more comfortable. I hope she continues to be busy and successful in the future. I know that I will be recommending her to all the directors I shoot for. Let's also hope we see her again in a content scene with myself.
After the scene, we hit the showers. Check out the shower! It's the same bullshit portable low-rent shower that Porn Pros used to keep in their studio right next to the power supply. Double Yikes!
I left the set around 3pm to head for home. Traffie was heavy because the work day was ending and the weekend was beginning. I have a slight narcolepsy problem, especially after scenes, so it was a real struggle to make it all the way home with my eyes open. It took almost 2 hours to make it back to the valley!
I was supposed to do a content trade scene at 5pm, but I texted Bill Fox (the content shooter) and pushed it back to 6pm. I struggled into my apartment at 5:10pm, and immediately fell asleep for a 20 minute nap (don't worry I set my alarm).
At 5:30pm, I woke up & Angell was ready to go (she is staying in my spare bedroom) and we headed to set.
Angell Summers, 25 years old, no kids, not married, is a French girl that has had a nice little career in this biz. I first met her on a set in England, but I did not get the chance to speak to her much as I was busy fucking Rebecca More.
We became friends through my friendship with another European girl, Alison Star. They lived together in the same model house, but when Alison went back to Europe, I offered Angell my place to stay for the remainder of her time here in states (at half the fee that she was charged in the model house). But she was definitely free to shoot some scenes for her website - HERE - since we have never worked together and I find her super sexy, I was ready to go!

After dinner, we watched the movie "End of Watch" starring Jake Gyllenhaal & Michael Pena. It was a very good movie, especially if you lived in LA where the landmarks mean something. I recommend it and I gave it 3.5 jalapenos out of 5.
It was a pretty damn good day to be a male performer in porno. We drove home at 1am exhausted but with smiles on our faces. Bonne nuit!
