Keeping with the theme of the week, I was doing another BJ scene today with the gorgeous Bridgette B. I was shooting the scene at Jeff Coldwater's house. As you can probably guess, its another quid pro quo thing. Living in Las Vegas and working in the nightclub scene has ingrained in me the concept of who you know and what they can do for you. One of my mantra's is that I always help out those who help me. Conversely, I am not going to be putting money in the pocket of people who have called me a piece of shit, or girls that have refused to work with me, or performer/directors that have never hired me. Why should I help someone who has never helped me? So you won't be seeing me shoot Courtney Cumms, Asa Akira, McKenzie Lee, Lexi Love, Devon Lee, Brooke Banner, and a few others. No thanks.
As I parked in Coldwater's backyard, I was greeted with this montrosity....WTF?
Last year, Shel Black had a medical emergency that put him out of commission for a month. So I had to hire videographer and still photographers to fill in for him. I shoot for Venom all the time, and Rob is a great cameraman - so I got the chance to hire him for a few shoots. The same for David Lord, Kevin Moore, and Alan Eigan.
The scene was not one of my more creative endeavors, it was the hackneyed MILF premise of throwing out baseball cards by accident. Great scene, good chemistry and lots of passion.
After the scene, most people in the biz were going to the XRCO Awards in Hollywood (XRCO stands for X-Rated Critics Organization). But yesterday I was invited to the AIM Benefit Poker Tournament at the Hustler Casino. Awesome. So now I can skip the award show I didn't want to go in the first place, avoid seeing Phoenix Marie at all, AND I get to play poker. Win Win Win for me. I dragged my assistant, Scott Stone along with me to play in the tourney. I paid the 200 dollar entry fee for each of us and surveyed the room. Sharon Mitchell, who founded and runs AIM, was there looking ravishing!
Her asst. Brooke Hunter, another ex pornstar was also there and looking boobalicious. Of course Ron Jeremy was just there for the free food.
The tournament had about 50 participants and even a special guest appearance by Larry Flynt.

About 3 hours later, I still hadn't heard from Scott, and just then he texted me that he is in the final table and in the top 3! He finished tied for 2nd and won 1125 dollars! How fucking cool is that?
We played in the cash game for a short time, and then headed home around 2am. Great night. I couldn't help but think back to a year ago, when Phoenix Marie and I got into a huge fight after XRCO and broke up for the 4th time. A year later, I feel so much more calm and content. Less stress is always good.
