Continuing my thoughts from yesterday, I do a lot of introspection on my life. I think it's normal to question why I have landed in the situation and circumstances that I find myself in each day. I am saying all of this while listening to the fitting song, My Life. I have one more day until I leave for my vacation in Japan, and I am really looking forward to it. I still have a few things to care of tomorrow, some major, some minor. This year has been full of highs and lows, mostly high, but of course some low. I feel like I have weathered the stormy waters of this business with as much levelheadedness as I could. Of course I am sure there are those who would vehemently disagree.
My brother wants me to purchase some things for him, jeans, sandals, deodorant, and razor blades. Okay, no problem! I also need to purchase a few books for my trip, Barnes and Noble better have Japanese for Dummies! Laundry is done, and so my bags are packed.
Speaking of trips, I finally got to talk to Kayden Kross tonight. She had some fantastic stories to tell, but I would never think of usurping her thunder in telling her own story. Let's just say that my travels to New Zealand in 2005 were much more positive than hers.
I was going to shoot a blowjob scene today, but it turned into a POV scene. After shooting POV scene Naughty America's Housewife 1-on-1 all the time, this one was a piece of cake. I finished up around 6pm.
I was close to the LA Fitness in Universal City, so I quickly headed over there. It closed at 8pm tonight, so I had to be on the ball with my workout. I ran 2.39 miles in 20 minutes (that's pretty fast), lifted shoulders, cycled 20 minutes, and did abdominals. And all of this by 7:55pm!
Phoenix Marie wanted to have dinner before I left, and it had been a week since I had seen her, so of course I said yes. We met at the Cheesecake Factory at 830pm. That place is a haven for porn people and tonight was no exception as I ran into Billy Watson, the man with a better blog than me - I Shoot Porn, and his friend, director Garrett Smith.
We reminisced about the good times Phoenix had while shooting for him. She did a few interracial scenes back in the day, and when I asked who she had worked with for Billy, she said "Tony Capony".....good lord that was funny because she was talking about Tone Capone. Nice work Phoenix!
We had a relaxing meal together, we started off with Chicken and Artichoke soup, then Phoenix had the Tomato Basil Mozzarella salad, which looked scrumptious. I just had my usual Rigatoni with parmesan cheese and butter.
After dinner, it was still early and Phoenix had never visited the new Arclight Cinemas located directly above the Cheesecake Factory. We headed upstairs and I quickly saw that Babylon A.D. was about to begin. It stars Vin Diesel, so I definitely wanted to see it. The film was being shown in the Over 21 Only Theater (you can bring alcohol in there). Cool concept and pretty cool movie.
I know the reviews aren't the greatest for this movie, and the ending was really, really weak, but overall we both really enjoyed it. It was non-stop action throughout the film, and Vin Diesel was in his comfortable role as a tough guy with a hear who kills people at will. His character was very, very similar to Pitch Black. There is a sequence close to the end that gave me the chills, you will understand what I mean when you see it.
Afterward, we headed back to my place so I could transfer ownership of my hedgehogs to her for the next ten days. She better keep them safe!
