So I cancelled my scene today for Blue Moon Video with the lovely and gorgeous Kylie Ireland, because I just felt like I needed some time off to recover. She called me and we talked about it, and I apologized for costing her a scene. Hopefully, we will get to make it up sooner rather than later.
My air conditioning was still out all day today, so I needed to get out of the house and into some air conditioning. Unfortunately, today was the day I had scheduled to put some after market parts onto my Honda (a better rearview mirror, some window guards, chrome exhaust pipe, and some different rims). So I was stuck at home in the heat all day. I made the best of it, and opened windows and turned on a fan or three to keep it somewhat bearable. But I was still sticky from the sheen of sweat that inevitably builds up from the standing heat. Not good times at all.
Obviously many, many hours of Warcraft were in my future today, so I ran heroics, did some arena, built up some honor points, and talked to my online nerd friends. I cleaned up my place a bit, played with my poor overheated hedgehogs (even let them play in some cool water), and watched Shark Week on the Discovery Channel (another one of my guilty pleasures).
Picked up my car from the dealer around 5pm, and it looked much cooler......oh with the exception of the fucking front end still being messed up from my fender bender on Monday. Those repairs are still forthcoming.
One major thing I did today was take stock of my finances. I have been spending more money this year than usual, for a variety of reasons, the new car, I have been eating out more for the blog, etc. etc. I have a compulsion for paying for meals, it's just something that I always do. Ask any of my friends, I just hate to let someone else pay for my food. Call me old-fashioned, I don't care.
Around 9pm, Kris Murrell and her friend Melissa rang me up to come get them at their hotel and take them to dinner. One thing that I think helps anyone in the adult business, is when times are tough or lonely, hang out with some civilians for a day or two, it will help cleanse your palate. Kris is looking huge, which makes sense as she is coming off a 4th place finish in the USA Nationals Bodybuilding Contest in the Heavyweight category. We decided on a Los Angeles classic.....Mel's Diner in the heart of Hollywood.
We were all ravenous, and so we basically ordered half the fucking restaurant. Kris can really put it away, I was impressed.
The highlight of the meal for me was the Orange Freeze, which was frozen heaven!
I was fucking with Melissa about getting into the business. She is 25, single, no children, and is blessed with natural D's and curves in all the right places. I love her look and I bet she would do very well. Basically there are 5 girls to my knowledge in the past 2 years blessed with natural D's that have done scenes, Amy Reid, Cassandra Calogera, Whitney Stevens, Sara Stone, and Brandy Talore. Of those 5, only Whitney is doing scenes right now, however Brandy still comes to LA and shoots once in awhile. The market is there, whoever comes on the scene will make big bucks to be sure. I might actually have her convinced....we will see.
After dinner, we wandered around Hollywood Boulevard and then I dropped them off at their hotel and called it a night. It was very refreshing being around two civilians, and they were a lot of fun to goof off with. Thanks girls! Tomorrow I will be spending the day with them as well, driving around LA.
