Most normal people spend their Saturday's sleeping in, puttering around the house, doing fun things.......of course I am going to do all of those things today, but first I am waking up early for my usual weekend footie watching with Danny Mountain at the Fox and Hound in Studio City. 

 

There was a doubleheader (Manchester United vs. Hull City and Arsenal vs. Stoke City) live at 8am with another match immediately following at 10am (Tottenham vs. Liverpool).  We watched both on the big screen while dining on our usual Full English Breakfast.  Man, I never get tired of posting that picture........it even LOOKS fucking delicious.

   

Great matches, but I ran out of gas after the first match.  Orange juice is great for breakfast, but in no way keeps you awake longer.  So I said my good-byes and headed back home for a sweet nap.

I spent the day doing all the things I mentioned above......good lord naps are glorious!  However at 5pm, I was awake and alert because there was a classic college football game afoot....Texas at Texas Tech!  YEEEEEEEHAWWWWWW!!

Wow, what a cracker of a game.  Texas Tech kicked ass for the entire game until Texas took the lead late in the fourth quarter.  But with a wild final drive...Texas Tech actually won the game.  Unbelievable! - ESPN RECAP

So after the game ended, Phoenix Marie called to see if I wanted to grab some dinner.  At about the same time, Kimber James, who just arrived in town, called to ask the same thing.  So why not combine the two?

Just to catch everyone up on current events......Kimber James just became the first transexual performer to be repped by not only LA Direct Models, but any modeling agency ever - PRESS RELEASE (courtesy of Adult FYI).  Check out her own category on the LA Direct page - PAGE....classic.  Phoenix made the comment that about 120 girls were now officially jealous of Kimber for having her own category.

There is definitely going to be a backlash from the anonymous hater crowd that permeates our industry online.  But I think it's a fantastic PR move by Derek, and he is right, the TS genre makes a lot of money, why wouldn't he explore getting into that field?  Let's see how it turns out.  I give Derek a lot of credit for sticking his neck out, not many people have that kind of courage.

We all met at OGGI's Pizza & Brewing Co. up in my neck of the woods.  We only went there because it was next to the movie theater (but more on that later).  Phoenix and Kimber had never met, but within about 30 seconds they were chatting about hair extensions, boobs, short skirts, and the porn business of course.

 

Phoenix and I had a beer (damn I am drinking a lot these days) and we also had a god awful bowl of vegetable soup.  It was terrible actually and we sent it back.  Bleah.

 

I wasn't hungry and so I skipped dinner, but Phoenix had the tortelloni and Kimber had a bowl of penne pasta.

 

We hurried through dinner, because we were going to watch a movie tonight.  How is this for the strangest date night in history?  Zack & Miri Make a Porno started at 940pm, and I hate being late.  And since Phoenix was bragging about how much she works all the time.....I made her pay for the movie.  Take that big baller!

 

Of course I sat in the middle of the two girls, I just like being surrounded by boobs....what can I say?

During this movie, besides the interuptions from Christian checking his phone every five minutes..., I really enjoyed it! Kevin Smith has done me proud!! =) I died rolling when Katie Morgan shit on the "director"- Jeff Andrews (Clerks-"ATM" bitches, and Dogma) Face!!  Then, you have Jason Mewes- (Jay and Silent Bob sooo amazing!) playing a pornstar... Wish he was!!

I think you'll Love it... but fuck it's at our expense a little bit, but... "If you can take a Dick.... You can take a Joke!"

I would like to say something to everyone who has been extremely wonderful and given me support in this business! I am very, very Lucky to have it and extremely Grateful... come AVN time I hope to see everyone to share some drinks and laughs with me!! It's going to be a blast! And there you go. Predictably, Phoenix gives a three sentence review of the movie like I asked, and a twenty page rambling about nothing.  Also, that was totally unedited, so I won't apologize for the egregious butchering of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and capitalization that she employs.

Back to Zack and Miri, it was a really enjoyable movie from beginning to end, but this is because I am a veteran of the Kevin Smith genre of movies.  The realistic and humorous dialogue makes the movie, and many people were both chuckling and repeating funny lines during the flick.

Phoenix touched on it a little bit in her "review", but it was really strange and awkward watching them try to make a porno.  Watching that was very similar to being roasted or lampooned.  The way average civilians view porno is so far out in left field.

One thing is for certain, I am very happy for Katie Morgan.  She had her boobs out for about 90 percent of her facetime during the movie, and trust me, no one in the audience minded.  I hope this launches her into getting serious about the acting profession, and some more roles in the future.

Overall I give the movie 3.5 jalapeno's out of 4, and if I could have seen Elizabeth Banks boobs it would have been 4 out of 4 for sure.  Great movie, funny dialogue, gripping story, and it flowed from beginning to end.

   

After the movie, we went back to my place for a minute so Kimber could meet the hedgehogs and Phoenix could write her little blurb.  Notice that they both drive the same car!  What are the odds?

 

After that, we said our good byes and I retired to dream about living in Pittsburgh and a threesome with Elizabeth Banks and Justin Long (just kidding).

A Welcome Friend

Today was obviously a day to watch NFL football while lying in bed and moving as little as humanly possible.  Mission accomplished my friends!

I finally got around to putting clothes on and hitting the gym in the late afternoon.  I cycled for 60 minutes then lifted chest and triceps.  My strength is returning in leaps and bounds, and I am getting close to my pre-porn career levels.  Good times!

We were both in the mood for a steak, so I suggested the Backwoods Inn, a place that has been around for forty years in Santa Clarita.  It's an eccentric little spot that I haven't been to in a long time.

   

Gayle looked fantastic tonight as she always does.  We shared a drink and a bunch of laughs as we caught up on our comings and goings.  Gayle travels more than I do, we are two peas in a pod in that respect.

 

She had a bowl of clam chowder, while I had the cream of potato soup.

And for the main course, she had a filet, while I had the gigantic porterhouse!  Fantastico!

Hancock Studios

Again, just as a warning for the squeamish, today is one of those days that makes me the exception to the rule for the current fraternity of male performers in this business.  Just giving you guys a head's up.

Today I was performing in a solo scene for a small company out of San Diego, Hancock Studios.  They have two different websites, the first one strictly gay porn, and the other is a mixed bag of solo girl, solo guy, boy girl, and bisexual scenes.  I did a solo scene once before for them about three years ago, and today they were bringing me back for another solo.....but this time with some toys. 

This is a touchy subject for many male performers these days.  Some guys will refuse to do solo scenes at all, because 95 percent of solo scenes are geared toward a gay audience.  To extrapolate this, some male performers think that this makes them look or appear gay, and they just want to avoid any appearance of it.

But most guys are just as egotistical as I am, additionally they love getting paid, so they have no problem jerking off, naked in front of a camera.  I am one of those people (and I think you readers already knew that).  I do solo scenes maybe five times a year, I actually just did one a few months ago for No Way Am I Gay and Billy Watson, the author of my favorite porn blog I Shoot Porn.

Gayle Moher was headed down to San Diego to visit her daughter and attend the Madonna concert, and since I am headed down there anyway......we drove together!  Of course she owns a car built for a midget, and I spent the two and a half hour drive with my knees shoved into my chin.  Not good times.  (Additionally, I am a fucking idiot, because I can take the train back to Los Angeles and Union Station, but of course I don't LIVE at Union Station, now do I?)

She dropped me off in downtown San Diego where the guys from Hancock picked me up.  They are both friendly, clean cut guys, and we had a nice dicussion about a wide range of industry related subjects on the drive to their studio.

Hancock has shot many of the male performers in the business doing a wide range of sex acts.  They are thinking about expanding their site, and wanted my input on some of their ideas.  I think their site has a lot of potential if they can get some things going in the future.

So basically I stood in a room fully clothed, while they started filming it.  I slowly undressed, then of course started jerking off for about twenty minutes, while working in the two dildos (literally).  Wow, that is pretty damn gay.....yikes!

   

After the scene, they took me back into downtown San Diego, where I had a few hours to kill before I was meeting Laura from Naughty America for dinner.  So I headed to the nearest 24 Hour Fitness and grabbed as good a workout as I could.  I ran a mile, lifted shoulders, and then cycled for exactly 12 minutes before Laura called and yelled at me.

So I hustled out of the gym (sans shower....gross) and into Laura's fuel efficient Prius.  That's because she loves the earth and I hate it.  We were headed to another of Laura's strange restaurant's, Parallel 33.

   

We met two of Laura's friend's there and we had a fantastic meal and conversation about all sorts of non-porn related things.  The menu was varied and strange, yet delicious as hell.

Here are all the dishes we ordered, but they are too detailed for me to list here.

And of course, Laura had to sample my food as usual......damn I hate that shit.

After dinner, we retired back to Laura's house, and oh by the way, she purchased a new ranch style house just outside the San Diego city limits.

   

And of course, in light of the scathing email someone sent me that Laura found out about, she made me sleep outside in the tent again.  Damn you!

Anyhoo, I got into a flame war with Jayden James (big surprise I know) and somehow I got banned from their message board as well.  I have a gift my friends, for pushing people's buttons.........but today they sent me a reprieve, and are allowing me to post on the forum again.  Sweet. 

NA Offices - Back to LA

This is a crucial month for me.  I know that times are tough economically, and this is affecting our industry as well as many others.  Now is not the time to be taking vacations or spending money unnecessarily.  Last month, even with my travelling to London and Berlin, I still managed to do 18 scenes and make very close to 10,000 dollars.  I can live with that, but considering last year I did 36 scenes in October, my comfortable scene rate margin has shrunk.  I am sitting at 238 scenes done in 10 months, and last year I did 281 scenes total for the year, so I have to do 43 scenes in 2 months in order to achieve my yearly goal.  And remember, December is historically a slow month for scenes because of the holidays, so that makes November doubly important.  If I can somehow get 25 scenes done this month, it would make me feel a lot better about December.

I couldn't get a scene together for today, so I was in no hurry to get back to Los Angeles.  This meant that I could go visit Laura at her office in the Naughty America Citadel of Porn.  For some reason, Laura likes to think she is still on safari in Africa.......good lord that's a lot of green.

 

I bullshitted around her office, annoyed some of the Naughty America staff (the editor showed me my latest scene - the My Friend's Hot Mom with Harmony Bliss & Crystal Storm - SCENE, and then pestered Laura until she ordered us some burgers for lunch.  I thought we were going to the break room to eat them..............oh that Laura with her surprises!

I was the special guest host on the Naughty America Live Chat, a 30 minute daily live taping with Laura (executive producer), Lauren (asst. executive producer and aspiring porn star), and Jenny (human cum dumpster).  Basically the Naughty America members come into the room and ask the girls questions about anything, it's pretty cool.  Sorry though, it's only available for members.....but again, you can get a trial membership for like two bucks.  Cheapskates.  After all the free photos I give you!

After finishing the chat, it was now almost 2pm and time for me to get going.  I had one of Laura's sixteen assistants take me to the train station.  Again, I can't stress enough how peaceful and relaxing taking the train from San Diego to Los Angeles is.

I made it to Union Station in Los Angeles around 715pm and look who came to pick me up?  Phoenix Marie (sans makeup).

After dinner, we had a nice bowl of ice cream, said our good-byes, and hit the road. 

It was fantastic spending some time with Jenny, she is a good person, and deserves to be happy in this life.  I hope she can settle down and live a normal life, well as normal a life as a porn girl can live here in LA.  Hopefully we will be working together at least once before the year is through.

Naughty America - KC Kelly - Ein Deutsches Abendessen

It's hard to shake the feeling of angst I have (and probably many other performers as well) about my future in this business.  As the economic problems of America start to affect our industry, and the market gets smaller and smaller, keeping my piece of the pie gets more and more difficult (or maybe it just seems like that to me).

The problem with being a male performer is that I don't get a salary, so when work dries up, it's totally on me to have money saved.  But the real challenge for me will be finding my next job after my performing career is finished.  And doing that with money still in my bank account at the same time would be nice.

I have many options, it's just choosing the right time and the right one.  I have such an easy lifestyle, it will be really hard to change that.  One thing I do know, I love this blog, I love writing, I love being around people and taking pictures, and I love talking about the ridiculousness that is my life (and I love having sex with beautiful girls every day).

Just a quick interjection......I realize that there was a Presidential Election yesterday, and since most of you remember that I was a high school government teacher in a previous life, I know that you know that I followed the election pretty closely.  But this is not a political blog, my politics are personal, and I purposely chose not to talk about politics at all.  So keep your emails admonishing me for not talking about the election to yourself.  Thanks so much.

Today I was doing the early scene as usual for Naughty America, and as usual I was running horribly late.  Which means I showed up on set about two minutes BEFORE they needed me for still photos.  Darby, the guy who runs a small agency called Absolute Modeling, had already called me to tell me about my girl for today.

POV scenes are tough for new girls because it forces them to act throughout the entire scene.  I can't say a word, because it's not supposed to be me, but rather just my cock.  KC was really nervous, and struggled to get the opening dialogue right.

This is where a good director earns his salary.  Tommy Pistol is a very talented actor, and having him as the director today was a godsend.  He knew exactly how to coach her, and I was very impressed with how he handled the situation.  Working with new talent is definitely one of Tommy's strong suits.  And after giving her some tips and pointers, all the while reassuring her, she got the dialogue done.

Since the scene is POV, that means that I can hold my camera and shoot pictures while the real photographer is shooting his!  So I got some candid blowjob shots.....

She was a decent performer, who I think genuinely enjoys sex.  She will calm down and get better at dialogue, which will help as well.  My only complaint was that she kept saying it was strange that I was fucking in between cuts and takes and positions.  Baby, my cock isn't going to stay hard by itself.  We are at work, once the scene is finished, there won't be any more fucking between us (until the next time we are booked). 

After my scene ended, I stopped into the studio next door where Penthouse and director Randy Spears was shooting Danny Mountain.  That way I could heckle him because at the time Manchester United was losing 1-0 to Celtic (they eventually drew 1-1).  I didn't even notice that he was working with Ahryan Astyn, who is the girl that stabbed me in the back a few months ago.  Thanks again.

Then it was on to the gym.  I felt like working out in Hollywood today, and there is a 24 Hour Fitness at the Arclight Cinemas on Cahuenga and Sunset.  I like that gym, its huge and there are always strange characters in there working out.  Keeps my mind occupied while doing cardio.

I cycled 60 minutes for a warmup, then lifted back and biceps, did some abs, skipped the treadmills (they were full and the wait was six people deep.....no thanks), and hit the pool.  I swam exactly 150 meters and then my shoulder felt like it was on fire.

This really pissed me off.....the more I am lifting now, the harder it is to do proper triathlon training.  Its double edged sword, either my triathlon ability is great, and I have less muscle definition, or the opposite.  I need to find a balance.

Just as I was feeling down, Katja Kassin called me and asked me to join her for dinner!  Sweet!  Katja and I have always been good friends, and this year has really sucked because we haven't worked together, nor have we even spoken really.  But she wanted me to meet her and her friend Andy for some authentic German food at the Red Lion Tavern.

 

The Red Lion Tavern is a German Beer Garden that is fucking awesome!  You enter the place into a small bar with live music, or you can go upstairs to the large outdoor beer garden for dinner!

   

Katja looked gorgeous tonight, it has been so long!  Her smile is fantastic, and I love to listen to her talk with her accent and funny way of saying things.  Maybe it was because I hadn't seen her all year, but I thought she looked smoking hot!  I need to get us a scene together pronto.

     

Dinner was fucking tasty as hell.  I had the sauerbraten with cabbage and spoetzel. 

I wish I could tell you what Andy and Katja had, but honestly I have no idea.  You figure it out and let me know.

 

We had a delicious German Apple Strudel for dessert, and Katja and I shared it right down to the last morsel.

We talked about all sorts of things over dinner....Mike Metropolis (my old roommate) and his ex-wife Kaylynn, Stephanie Tripp, Drew Berrymore, German Football, the World Cup in South Africa, life on the road, being the German translators for Adam & Eve's Tailgunners, we laughed and chatted from start to finish.

Around 10pm, it was time to say our goodbyes.  When I walked Katja to her car, she asked me if I wanted a shot of her butt.......um, yes please!

Good lord!  And that my friends is the end to a fantastic dinner.

A conversation on the Brazzers Forums got me in the mood to gamble a little bit at the Hustler Casino (I know, I know....I just contradicted myself about saving money and then I go gambling........bleah).  I bought in for 300 bucks at the 2/5 no limit game and went to work. 

 

I was treading water for the first two hours or so, and I was sitting with 275 bucks when I got K 5 suited of diamonds in the big blind.  No one raised me and I checked to see the flop.  The flop comes out 3 of diamonds, 6 of spades, and 7 of diamonds.  So now I have a flush draw and a straight draw as well.  I bet 20 bucks and two people called.  The turn comes a 2 of diamonds.......SWEET!  I bet 25 this time trying to see who bites.  The next guy raises to 50, and the other dude goes all in for 300.  Insta-call for me in this case (anyone disagree?).  The middle dude folds and the guy turns over 6 7 of clubs.....two pair.  So he has four outs with one card to go......and the river comes.........7 of hearts.  Fuck me.

So I drive home a loser, and now I did my scene for Naughty America today for 300 bucks instead of 600.  Not good times. 

Zero Tolerance

Today was all set to be an easy day, a cakewalk, a walk in the park.  I woke up early, got my errands done, and I was actually on time this morning.  Since I was in a great mood, here is a song to listen to while reading this entry that has always been one of my favorites - Sunshine - Dance Nation.

Lindsey Meadows and I have been friends since she started in this business.  We worked together when she was really, really new and we had a great time.  Ever since then, we have been good friends, I used to hang out with her at her super strange 70's pad, and we chatted by phone, myspace, or text quite often. 

This past year we have drifted a little bit, and I haven't worked with her nor seen her since 2007.  Last week, I ran into Madelyn Marie at the LA Direct office, and she mentioned that Lindsey is her roommate!  I invited them both to dinner, but Lindsey declined because she is a flake (just kidding.....not really).

So today it was absolutely fantastic to finally get to see her (and post pictures in my blog).  Lindsey is a very unique girl, she is from Ohio, 26, and was a dancer prior to entering the business.  She wears the cutest glasses, and has a fantastic sense of humor.   She is a bit of a loner, and likes to march to the beat of her own drummer.  Her track record with roommates is definitely lacking, I think each of the last three owe her money.  Good lord.

Phoenix Marie and her older half-sister woke me up around 730pm.  Damn I hate being woken up.  Phoenix wanted me to meet her and go to dinner, so she barged into my place and jumped on me.  Meanie. 

I decided to take them to a restaurant up in Canyon Country that I had been meaning to try.  The Roast House is a swanky little place that features a varied menu, great service, different themed evenings (tonight was cigar night), and has a live blues band crooning in the background.  Phoenix was delighted because they played some Michael Buble right as we walked in the door.

We had a fantastic dinner while reminiscing over Phoenix's childhood and huge extended family.  Let's put it this way, I think Phoenix Marie's father is trying to create his own personal city full of relatives.  And no they aren't Mormon either (I thought of that).

 

Of course Phoenix was texting the entire dinner, and she has the amazing ability to text with one eye, and look at us with the other one.  Strange.

After dinner, Baskin & Robbins was right next door so I took them there.  Phoenix wanted to pay for ice cream, which I never allow, so I made her an offer.

 

If she could name 3 of the first 5 US Presidents then she could pay.  She got Washington and Jefferson immediately, but then took about 10 minutes to finally get Adams.  Nice.

Jeff Coldwater and A Birthday For A Friend

As I sit in the plush booth at The Belmont, an ultra swanky, "scenester" laden hot spot nestled in the heart of Hollywood, I can't help but feel a bit wistful.  It's just before the stroke of midnight and I am there attending the birthday party for Roxy Deville, my favorite female performer in the business (that I have worked with 22 times....wow).  I am very, very jealous of her at the moment, because she is surrounded by her boyfriend and four more friends of hers.....all civilians.  She invited some of her "friends" in the industry, but none of those people showed up.

 

I am jealous because I, like many other performers in this business, am pretty lonely.  I am very good at filling the empty spaces in my day and my life with transient, fleeting characters (many of whom show up in my blog), but in reality......I am still alone.

Trust me when I say that I wish I had someone to spend my nights with.  I don't need a party animal, or arm candy, or a rocket scientist.  I just want someone with similar interests, who is low-key and laid back, who doesn't do drugs, that doesn't have small children, husbands, or even ex-husbands, someone who enjoys spending time at home just puttering around the house while enjoying each other's company.

Unfortunately, this wish list eliminates almost everyone in my business, which is a good thing, because I am only looking for one person.

This year has been really hard on me.  The people that were my closest friends and inner circle have all abandoned me or I have pushed them away for various reasons.  As I drove into Hollywood to meet Roxy, I thought to myself that I used to have 5 or 6 people that I would just call to bullshit........and now there are none.

Roxy was obviously in very high spirits and her tiara made a nice touch.  We haven't seen each other in a few months and I miss her a lot.  I think she is slowly transitioning out of this business, she hasn't said anything about it, but the fact that everyone at her party is a civilian but me, speaks volumes.  Is that a bad thing?  I am not so sure these days. 

   

Her boyfriend got her a fantastic cake with dinosaurs on it (strange).  Everyone sang Happy Birthday to her, and she screamed and giggled like a schoolgirl.

Shortly after that, I just couldn't sit there anymore.  I said my good-byes, bid everyone a good night, and headed for home.  It's strange being at a trendy club in Hollywood, that's chock full of young, single chicks, and not circulate through the crowd to see what I can see.......but I wasn't feeling it.

Earlier that evening I made a surprise guest appearance at the Dick Nasty Friday Night Poker Game, that has been going every week since 2004 (and maybe earlier than that).  There were 7 players tonight, Harry Weiss, Dirty Harry, Dino Bravo, Dick Nasty, Scott St. James, Jonathan Morgan, and Nic Cramer dealing the cards (let's call them the Crusty Seven for the sake of argument).

I haven't seen Jonathan Morgan in six months at least, and although we have never gotten along very well, it was great seeing him tonight.  He was regaling us with stories from his performing days, and he was in high spirits because this year had been a very successful one for him.  He was a very prolific performer from 1990 to 1999, and then made a smooth transition to director.....now he is under contract with Wicked Pictures.  His contract calls for six movies a year, and this year he said he has already completed nine!  Jonathan and Scott collaborated on a movie a few months ago, Se7en Deadly Sins......good fucking lord, look at that cast list!  Amazing.

This poker game is always a good time for me.  I like all of those guys, and they always keep me laughing with stories about the business.  As for my poker playing ability, well that's another story.  I was up almost 100 bucks (plus my original 80 dollar buyin), but instead of leaving at 930pm like I should have, I stayed about 3 hands too long, and lost it all.  Not good times.

I wasn't even going to attend the game tonight, but Jeff Coldwater, the director I worked for today, brought his name up during my scene and got me jonesing for it.

My call time was originally 3pm, but they were running late.  This gave me plenty of time to get all of my errands run.....most importantly I needed to buy hedgehog food for my kids.  Petco, those rat bastards, decided to discontinue selling hedgehog food and didn't tell me.  So I drove over to a Petsmart that carried a different brand.  Whew, crisis averted.

Even though I did complete my errands today, one thing that I did fuck up was lunch.  Yesterday my civilian cougar friend with the massive fake boobs that I love, Karen, texted me about having lunch today.  We set it up for 1230 at a restaurant that I haven't been to yet.  Today I woke up at 7am as usual, and puttered around the house for a few hours.  By 11am, I was tired again and passed out watching TV.  At 1pm, my phone rang and I woke up.  It was Karen asking where I was.  Holy shit!  What a piece of shit I am!

I asked her why she didn't text me before she drove over to the restuarant?  Give me some warning.......damn.  But ultimately it was my fault for flaking and now I owe her one.  And trust me when I say that I want to see her again.....and those boobs!  Stay tuned.

ZT - Evie De Le Tosso and The Mecca

I have been really thinking about a change of scenery in 2009, and one of my options is to move to the beach in the Santa Monica or Venice area.  And since I needed to workout anyway.....why not hit the Mecca of Bodybuilding Gold's Gym Venice? 

What a great gym, muscular chicks with fake boobs, and plenty of hot MILFs.  I love working out here, it's definitely going to be a big reason if I move down here.

I ran 4.5 miles, lifted chest and triceps, and cycled 60 minutes.  No pool, so no swim today.  Oh I ran into Jean Val Jean while running, he is an ex-male performer who got out of the business to pursue a job in mainstream acting.  No thanks.  He is a good guy and we chatted for a few minutes before he had to leave. 

So after my fantastic workout, I drove home, showered, fed the hedgehogs, and passed out watching college football.  Around 830pm, there was a knock on my front door......it was Tina, my poker buddy!  And she brought me Subway! 

She drove out to my place because we are driving to Vegas tonight for a 24 hour gambling session......just kidding to watch the final table of the World Series of Poker, which starts at 10am Sunday at the Rio Poker Room.  Should be some cool pictures and good stories! 

Marathon Gambling in Vegas

Being the gentleman that I am, I allowed Tina to drive the entire way to Vegas so I could sleep.  I wanted to fly, but Tina gets nervous flying.....so whatever.  She can drive and like it.

While driving, my satellite radio was playing a new song Swagga Like Us.....man that's a cool song.  It's one of those songs that help me run faster when doing cardio.  I love the bass line.

I was out cold for the duration of the trip, and I only awoke when this was looming directly in front of us.

The MGM Grand is where Tina likes to play, so we sat down at a 2/5 no limit game around 3am.  Fast forward to 8am, when Tina's chip stack looks something like this.....

and mine is fucking non-existant.  Not good times (minus 500 is no good)

We decided to take a break for breakfast (and to watch some football), so we drove over to the Crown and Anchor, my favorite English Pub in Las Vegas.  Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.....and showing damn near every football match they can find worldwide.  Double Bonus!

 

We sat down and immediately Tina ordered a Guinness (Jesus....slow down girl!). 

She was getting pretty tired, but I will tell you gave her some energy...The Full English Breakfast of course!  If anyone who reads this hasn't tried one......do it as soon as possible.  And you are a wanker.

After watching Bayern Munich vs. Schalke 04 while simultaneously watching Fulham vs. Newcastle, it was time to get back to business..........gambling.

This pub offers the bane of gamblers everywhere, the addicting video poker machines.  And this one offers video blackjack with a let it ride feature.  I love let it ride, but its a scary, roller coaster experience.  Starting at 20 credits (at .25 cents a credit) and letting it ride until I get to 1280 credits, I went through about 400 bucks until I finally hit the big time and cashed out for 700 bucks.  That's a 300 dollar profit!

The reason we went to Vegas in the first place was to watch the final table of the WSOP, held at the Rio and starting at 10am.  We got there just after 930am and were immediately greeted with this ridiculous entrance line.

There was absolutely no way we were getting into that place, so after 30 minutes we gave up and left the building......stay tuned though!

We headed over to the Wynn Resort around 1030am and immediately sat down at my normal Vegas game....the 1/3 no limit with the peach colored 3 dollar chips.  Those chips throw a lot of people off because they have to do additional math.

Once again, I couldn't catch a card to save my life, and again Tina was kicking ass.

Oh I almost forgot to mention Tina's bad beat story.  She had A A and raised 25 dollars preflop.  She got 2 callers, which is fine with her.  The flop comes out A Q Q, and BAM, Tina is in business.  She bets 50 bucks and gets a fold and a smooth call.  The turn comes Q and the other dude bets 100, and Tina pushes all in for about 500 bucks.....the smooth callers instacalls and turns over Q 9.  The river is a meaningless 4 and Tina is pretty bummed!  That sucks.....for her!

So after donkeying off all my chips to various scrubs, crumb-bums, and old timers, it was time to get a nap.  At this time, it was 3pm and we had successfully played poker for 10 hours now.

I had 410 bucks left in my pocket, and on the way to the room, I stopped at a roulette wheel and put it all on black.  And it hit!  So now I had 820 bucks....which I promptly told the dude to let it ride.  And it hit again!  1640 bucks!  I almost fainted.  And the Vegas roller coaster continues.

We napped from 3pm until around 7pm when I struggled out of my bed to grab a much needed shower.  I called Andrew Wilson, and hooked up dinner at Strip Steak at 8pm.

We were meeting not only Andrew, my casino host at Mandalay Bay and one of his players, a really nice guy named Bruce, but another surprise guest as well.

David Williams, the professional poker player!  He and his gorgeous girlfriend, Stephanie had just flown in from a tournament in Connecticut, and I invited them to hang with us for a while.

David and I met at AVN a few years back when he was at the Circle Bar showing off his platinum chain with platinum aces on it.  lol.  No, David is a super nice guy and very unassuming, especially compared to most of the egomaniac professional poker players.

He is from Texas of course, so he must be awesome.  He has been a pro for 5 years now, and of course everyone knows him from his 2nd place finish in the 2004 World Series of Poker tournament to Greg Raymer.  That loss netted him a cool 3.5 million dollars by the way.  Not a bad payday for a 23 year old wouldn't you say?

I peppered him with questions about his record keeping (meticulously kept on a spreadsheet), his travels around the world (in the past few months he has been to England, France, Spain, and Connecticut...lol), his education (he went to a private math and science high school, attended Princeton for a year and then transferred to SMU), his start in poker (he was a professional Magic the gathering player), other poker players (don't ask), and life in Vegas (he loves it but wants to retire in Hawaii).  David is very personable, very friendly, and very at ease with his new life and lifestyle.

Speaking of his lifestyle, he did admit that his life is a bit boring.  He can't really play in normal casino poker cash games, because the action isn't high enough to interest him.  And he only has two more tournaments to compete in until the end of the year.  That's a lot of free time with no responsibilites, nothing really to do, and I can see how it would get a bit boring.

As for our meal, holy shit, it might have been my favorite meal of the year!  First, they brought us some french fries with three different tasty dipping sauces.  For appetizers, we got some sushi, steak tartare (always my favorite) and some incredible bacon-wrapped lobster fritters.  They were delicious and I don't even eat seafood!

   

For dinner, I had a gigantic Ribeye, medium well and it was perfectly cooked.  It couldn't have been any better.  But the side dish made the meal.....jalapeno creamed corn.  I not only ate almost all of it, but I ordered a second helping of it like I was at my mother's house.   

As for dessert, David had the Rocky Road Ice Cream thingy......

And I had Beignets with the butterscotch dipping sauce.  Good god that shit was good!

David's girlfriend Stephanie is 23, from Michigan, and completely charming.  They look great together and seem to get along famously as well.  Always nice to see.

 

After dinner, David personally took us back to the Rio (by the way he drives a Bentley and he called my car a PT Cruiser!..WTF...My Honda and I are insulted!).  There were still four players remaining in the tournament, and David not only got us into the room, but he got us into the No Limit Lounge VIP room.  How sweet is that?  Once again people...in Vegas as in life, it's who you know and what they can do for you.  Never forget that.  It was great hanging out with him, and I hope to see him again before the end of the year.  Oh I almost forgot that he has a website you can check out - SITE

I sat down at another 2/5 table and immediately was greeted to the table by losing all my chips when I had A J and the flop came J 5 3, the other dude had pocket 3's...bleah.  I rebought for another 500, and that lasted a long time, but I still couldn't ever make a hand.  I would flop 4 flushes, straight draws, all kinds of shit, and nothing else would ever come. 

Let's face it, I am a terrible poker player.  It's why I only play once or twice a month.

Around 3am it was time to leave Vegas and start driving home.....I mean for Tina to start driving that is.  I was fast asleep again for the duration.  Thanks Tina!

Diabolic - Rodney Moore - Tired

I get really cranky when I am tired, and although I did sleep for a few hours on the drive home from Vegas, it wasn't nearly enough to make up for my normal sleep schedule.  This crankiness didn't really materialize until the evening after I had worked twice and then got some ridiculous news for my scene tomorrow.  More on that later.

Today was an exceptionally good day.  A few months ago, I deciphered the fact that Zack Wilde and Diabolic shoot pretty much every day.  So I sent him a text asking for an opportunity.  It took a few months, but finally there was an opening, and he gave me a shot today.  Bonus!

By the time the scene ended, exhaustion had set in.  I was hungry as hell, yet tired as hell at the same time.  Remember fucking on film isn't the same as fucking in private.  I have to fuck harder, longer, in front of huge lights many times, and in multiple positions.  As I drove home, my friend Karen called and wanted to know if I wanted to meet her for dinner. 

Of course I wanted to, but she said 630pm and it was like 530pm right now.  If I went home, it would be sleep sleep time immediately, so I had no choice.  I told her to wake me up in the parking lot.  lol.  I was passed out for a good 30 minutes by the time she arrived.  Man, that was a great nap. 

I would have made a great GI, I can sleep anywhere, at any time. 

We ate dinner tonight at the Wood Ranch Grill, a popular BBQ place in Stevenson Ranch, the swanky, upscale subdivision in Valencia.  Just walking into the place, I knew I would like it.....the smells were fantastic!

I had a bowl of tri-trip mushroom soup with some tasty garlic bread.  For our main courses, she had the babyback ribs and I had the house specialty, the tri-tip with a baked potato and mac & cheese.  Fantastic!

 

It was good to see Karen, she is a cool lady that works out at my gym.  She is a workout freak (even worse than me), I think she wants to compete in a figure competition sometime soon.  Let's see.

I couldn't really enjoy my dinner because I received an email from Naughty America about my scene for tomorrow.  I am headed to San Diego and I planned to take an early train like I normally do.  But when they sent me the email detailing my scene for tomorrow, my call time was 1030am.  What the fuck?

Let's do the math on that one.  In order for me to make it to San Diego by 1030am, I would have to catch the train at 720am.  I live about 45 minutes from the train station, so I would have to leave at 615am to make it.  But don't forget about morning traffic.....which means I would be leaving LA sometime around 530am in order to make it for that scene.  How bullshit is that?

I called Laura and told her that I wasn't doing that, and she acted like I was the asshole.  Oh really?  530am?  Give me a break.  I worked for Naughty America in San Diego once a week for over a year and the first scene was never before noon at the earliest. 

I tried to cancel, but Laura guilt-tripped me/strongarmed me into not cancelling.  So now I will be waking up in the middle of the night in order to catch a train to San Diego.  Not good times.
